Choose the Right Window Film Service
Compare the options by what you need: ceramic tint for a vehicle, solar film for glare and heat, privacy film for street-facing glass, frosting for partitions, or safety film for broken-glass retention. Automotive work is by appointment at our North York shop only. Residential and commercial installation is mobile across Toronto and our GTA service areas.

See the Toronto window tinting overview for car, home and business services, or check where your installation takes place.
Not sure which page to start with?
Choose by the problem, not the film name. For uncomfortable afternoon sun or screen glare, compare solar-control options. If furniture or merchandise is fading but you want a clear-looking finish, read about UV filtering. UV rejection and heat rejection are different specifications, even when one product offers both.
For an unwanted view into a room, decide whether you need to keep seeing out. Reflective privacy depends on lighting and is not reliable with the lights on after dark. Frosting obscures views in both directions. A condo den door and an office glass wall share that principle, but their coverage, hardware and approval questions are different.
Security film is a separate discussion about retaining fragments and the way the glass and frame work together. Do not treat an ordinary privacy or solar film as a security system. If an insurer or project consultant has a written requirement, include it when requesting advice.
What to send for a useful first quote
For a vehicle, send its year, make, model, desired windows and any existing tint. For a property, send photos, approximate pane sizes, the site location and the problem you want to solve. Mention old film, tall glass, low-E glazing and building restrictions. Vehicle work is at our North York shop by appointment; home and business visits are mobile across Toronto and the GTA.
